Gillian completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Trent University. Her honour's thesis focuses on how ages-related contrast vision decline may adversely affect safety and independence among older adults.

Gillian became interested in Dr. Lynn Hasher's aging and inhibition work a few years ago, which prompted a career change from her work with children to psychology.

In September 2002, Gillian began her graduate studies at the University of Toronto. Her Master's thesis investigates the role of interference and circadian rhythms in working memory across the lifespan.

Gillian was born in England and immigrated to Canada 25 years ago. If you would like to know more about Gillian or her research interests, please feel free to email her.
